Day 5 on 1.25mg - Feeling Okay-ish

taper update

I'm surprised, the confusion / sedation that followed my pill wasn't that long today. It was pretty short. I should note that I took the pill much later today than I normally do, and I actually got some symptoms from waiting too long (withdrawal). I got a strong sense of nausea coming from my gut and luckily it went away when I took it. I also had some mental depersonalization that went away, too. It's hard knowing that I'm going through unpleasant medication side effects but I can't get rid of the cause too quickly or it'll shock my gut and brain. this stuff is crazy.

Lexapro — 1.25mg — 7 months — actively tapering | with clinician

Yes, the timing of when we take a drug can really affect things - for better or worse.

Prozac · researching

Yes, we may be motivated to take risks like I recently did with Depakote, but it should be better to stay on the safe side and remember "holding is a critical part of the process".
